So the challenge has begun, one week as a veggie.
I was going to do it anyway but then Stace bet me I couldn't, so now i'm twice as determined - especially as there is a crate of carlsberg bottles at stake.
Can't wait to taste that sweet beery nectar.
Anyway, met all the fellow veggies at work and we went for a veggie breakfast. Looked longingly at the crispy bacon but managed to restrict myself to the veggie option. First challenge complete.
I have cheese sarnies for lunch, and a roasted veggie pizza lined up for dinner. No massive desire to eat a steak yet, although i am only two hours in.
I had chicken and bacon casserole last night. mmmmmm i liked that.
Still i'm sure lentils and pulses taste nice like that when cooked in the proper way. Right?

Day two - update
So far I'm 26 hours into the week long challenge.
No meat eaten yet - decided to have a bowl of cereals for breakfast today rather than eat a pork pie or something.
My parents helped last night by eating liver, so my veggie pizza looked like a treat compared to that.
so far so good
Now at the start of day three.
Had chippie chips last night and managed to avoid the battered sausage. Just had chips au naturalle.
I'm smelling the beer stace.
I have a cheese sarnie for lunch and am going out for a veggie dinner with peeps from work tonight.
Feeling quite healthy right now, maybe those veggies are onto something?
right its now monday and i'm still a veggie - not long to go now - stace must be sweating.
I faced the biggest challenge of all at the wekend as i turned down sausages after a game of rugby and just had beans and chips instead. If I can overcome that then i can achieve anything...
Looking forward to drinking your beer stace...
well then less than one day to go.
Still beating stace.
Still happy
Its over and i won!!!
Loving those vegatables.
